Sunday, 15 September – ESP Norwich Castle

Clock Tower at the Norwich City Council building

The Castle dominates the skyline of the town of Norwich and it is the obvious place to visit. The Castle usually holds a number of exhibitions, but since the building is being restored most of the displays have been removed and the castle is much as it was before it was turned into a museum over a hundred years ago.

Ralph and Dino had fun

Empty display cases

Part of the castle is still an art museum wit many local works from over the centuries.

There are also dioramas of birds with scenes from Norfolk, England.

What interested the group were the textile collections with clothing and needlework, some of which were the results of the local textile industry of the past.

And there were collections from all over the world
