I, Sele Tucker of the Swamp in Ann Arundel County, Planter, sick and weak,
To my wife Rebecca Tucker, during her widowhood, the whole of my lands and tenements, for her own use, and afterwards, to my son, Thomas Tucker, forever. Also to wife Rebecca, during her widowhood, the whole of my personal estate, for her own use, and afterwards to be equally divided among my younger children, viz, unto my sons James, Sele, John, William, and Richard, and unto my daughters, Elizabeth Mary, Ann, Rebecca and Margaret, for their own use, forever, excluding my son Thomas from any part of my personal estate.
If my son Thomas wants to dispose of my land and tenements in order to purchase another settlement during the widowhood of his mother, with her consent, he may so act, allowing her the same liberty, uninterrupted, as she is priviledged by me.
