July 30 Second Day at Sea

Still not much happening. The seas were rougher and the skies cloudy with rougher seas – though the description on the ship’s position channel keeps saying “slight” or “moderate” seas. We went to the Celebrity Lecture by Jim Kennedy, former NASA administrator, “The Future of NASA and why we should care.”

We’d hoped to watch “Bohemian Rhapsody” in the Royal Court Theatre but with the lecture and losing an hour at noon, we would have arrived late. The movie is supposed to run on Stateroom TV all day tomorrow so maybe we will catch it then.

This afternoon we saw some fulmars, a tubenose sea bird:
