Although Deane (Samuel Deane, History of Scituate, Massachusetts, from Its First Settlement to 1831.) says George married Sarah Jenkins, sister of Edward Jenkins, Wakefield finds no justification for that statement. George did have a wife Mary who probably was the mother of three of his children. (Robert S.
